After the first part I thought this might be the my favourite of the series, and as I wrote the first part of this sentence I thought it over again and decided it is.
This book shows Katniss' inner working on a whole new level, how much the Games has damaged her, the struggle to try to do what's right, or at least what feels right. This is where her friends and allies shows to be the most important, how they are there, either to fight or to discuss and convince.
It was easy to see that President Coin would be trouble the moment we met her, and that she would have had to be dealt with.
I want to make a comment about the losses, but right now I'm not sure what that would be other then the obvious "it's sad" part, maybe I hadn't foreseen all of them, at least not the timings/rapidness, and I cried a bit here and there.
